Last year the Council was awarded funding through the GLA London Recovery Board to carry out action-based participative research to define and test how Chingford Mount can become more child-friendly.

ZCD Architects were commissioned in September 2021 and have engaged with local school children through several sessions, working collaboratively to hear their voices and co-design proposals to make Chingford Mount more child-friendly.

An exhibition of the project and the children’s work will be displayed at 228 Chingford Mount Road on: Thursday 30th June 2pm – 5pm, Tuesday 5th July 2pm – 5pm and on Wednesday 6th July 2pm-5pm with the Council’s Area Regeneration team on hand to hear your feedback and answer any questions.

The work will also be displayed in the windows of 228 Chingford Mount Road from Tuesday 28th June until Monday 11th July.
