Take the Jump

IMMERSIVE THEATRE - FUN ACTIVITIES - WORKSHOPS - ENGAGING INSTALLATIONS - TALKS - CONVERSATIONS, AND MORE!

This easter holiday a joyous week long event is being hosted for the people of Chingford. It's a party, but with a difference, where we can all explore how Taking the Jump to a more sustainable way of living can not only protect nature, but also mean fuller and more joyous lives!

WHAT TO EXPECT AT THE EVENT

All housed in a beautifully designed space, with lots to look at, play with, learn about, and be inspired by.

Everyone is invited, there's plenty for young people. You'll leave feeling inspired, hopeful and that you are a powerful force for a better world, for us, our children and the planet.

As well as all the immersive fun mentioned above, there’ll be special workshops run by local community groups each day:

  • Monday 8th - bring your gadgets to South Chingford Repair club for fixing by local volunteers, creating less waste!

  • Tuesday 9th - come to our Systems Advice Bureau where you can meet Tom Bailey from Take the Jump and a representative of E17’s Power Station – a community power generation project, where you can get advice for any projects you’re thinking of and how working with your community can multiply your impact! https://www.power.film/about.

  • Wednesday 10th - Heales Cycles are offering free maintenance and repair classes. Register HERE to book in for Bike Doctor Surgery spot at 1pm, HERE for 2.30pm and HERE for the 4pm session (3 spaces per session).

  • Thursday 11th - join us for practical advice on how you can reduce flying but still see the world and how your employer can support you in reduced carbon travel.

  • Friday 12th - “EAT GREEN FRIDAY”

OrganicLea will offer free Community gardening and growing workshops. Register HERE for the 2pm session and HERE for the 4pm session.
